My own evolution has taken me from the ritual of faith to the orphaned roads of religions wandering souls.  How can I find answers when i don't know the questions?  All I know is the absence of something and I look for it everyday.  The elements of wood and space play a key role in connecting my search for closure in a world of organized religion.  Without turning my back but opening my soul I created a wooden prayer kneeler surrounded by grass to symbolize the last of my need to find a roof to pray under and that prayer can happen anywhere.  It is my hope that the viewer can connect with an element of spirituality within themselves by experiencing this installation.
